Nicholas Rotello, CFA
President & Chief Investment Officer
Nicholas Rotello founded Seven Two Partners in 2009. His experience spans nearly two decades of manager due diligence across asset classes, including research on more than 5,000 investment firms worldwide. While much of his experience has been focused on alternative investments (such as hedge funds, private equity and distressed debt), Nicholas has also spent considerable time researching traditional investments including U.S., non-U.S., and emerging market equities and fixed income. In addition to manager due diligence (search, selection, monitoring), Nicholas is experienced in all aspects of a client investment portfolio, tax efficiency, asset allocation, rebalancing, risk management and portfolio modeling.
Nicholas' prior investment experience includes option trading, TIAA-CREF, analyst at a small hedge fund, analyst at a $60 billion dollar investment consulting firm, Director of Investment Consulting at a $2.5 billion dollar wealth management firm, and Chief Investment Officer of a $20 billion dollar investment consulting firm. Nicholas began his career in the United States Army in 1990 and honorably served with the 82nd Airborne Division in Operation Desert Storm.
Nicholas earned his B.S. in Business at Colorado State University, and a M.S. in Finance from the University of Denver. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder.
Vice President, Investment Research
Etan Weiss joined Seven Two Partners in 2020 as Vice President of Investment Research. Etan is responsible for sourcing and diligence of new investment opportunities across asset classes globally, as well as ongoing monitoring of existing client investments.
Prior to joining Seven Two Partners, Etan worked for five years at a $2.5 billion Boulder-based multi-family office. Prior to that, Etan completed several internships with Blue Ridge Capital, a New York based $10 billion long/short equity hedge fund. Etan earned his Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Hamilton College, where he also served as an Executive Board Member for the Hamilton College Investment Club.
Etan volunteers for Attention Homes on a weekly basis, and was honored as Attention Homes’ 2017 Chase House Volunteer of the Year. Etan also sits on Attention Homes Board of Directors, where he serves as a member of the Finance Committee, and the Endowment Working Group.
Vice President, Investment Research
Paige Wildermuth joined Seven Two Partners in 2020 as Vice President of Investment Research. Paige is responsible for investment manager research, conducting due diligence across asset classes, sourcing new clients, and assisting with maintaining existing client relationships.
Prior to joining Seven Two Partners, Paige held a variety of roles in analytics, corporate strategy, and investment banking. She began her career in investment banking where she spent three years in Charlotte, NC analyzing financial and strategic rationale of potential M&A transactions with a focus on apparel retail and consumer product goods. She then spent three years in San Francisco, CA working for Gap Inc.’s corporate strategy team, building out their pricing teams and establishing a due diligence process for M&A. At Gap Inc. she transitioned primarily into analytics, working on and leading various pricing analytics projects across the company. She then held roles as a management consultant for 84.51/Kroger and Sr. Manager of Vail’s reporting analytics team.
Paige graduated with a B.S. in Finance and International Business from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and is currently a CFA Level I candidate.
Jamie Ann Medina
Analyst, Investment Research
Jamie Ann Medina joined Seven Two Partners in 2015. She is an Investment Research Analyst and focuses her time on due diligence, manager research, asset class valuations, and client reporting.
Prior to Seven Two Partners, Jamie's experience spanned a myriad of industries including accounting, interior design, and promotion management. She discovered a passion for investing through her internship at Seven Two Partners.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Finance from Regis University and holds a M.S. in Marketing from Regis University. She is currently working on Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Junior Research Analyst
Sophie Clarke joined Seven Two Partners in 2020 as a Junior Research Analyst. Sophie focuses her time assisting in investment manager research and conducting due diligence across asset classes.
Sophie is currently a Greenhouse Scholar at CU Boulder pursuing a B.A. in Communications and minors in Data Science and Financial Analysis. Sophie was also a member of the University of Delaware’s DI Women’s Soccer Team before transferring to CU Boulder.
